On Demand Audio Conferencing

ReadyConnect® is a self-managed conferencing service that enables users to arrange and control their own conference calls, 24 x 7, without making a reservation or having an operator present on the call. Conference hosts simply inform their intended meeting participants of the date, time, dial-in number(s) and participant passcode to be used in the conference call.

We offer feature-rich automated services, with a range of conference control features available to the conference host by entering touch-tone options on his/her telephone, including:

• Digital conference recording
• Roll call
• Participant count
• Conference locking/unlocking
• Mute/un-mute all
• Dial out to participants with operator assistance
• Conference continuation (allows participants to continue conferencing after the host disconnects)

Participants in a conference have the ability to mute their own lines, adjust the volume at which they are broadcasting into the conference (automatic gain control) and signal an operator for assistance.

ReadyConnect® Conference Control

Enhance your Conference experience with ReadyConnect® Conference Control, a state of the art web-based management tool that enables you to conveniently monitor and control the audio conference.  This proprietary web interface is offered at no charge and provides you with easy-to-use controls using the Internet and a web browser.

• Added security:  know exactly who and when someone is joining or leaving your meeting
• Easy to use:  click on simple icon-style commands to manage your conference instead of using the telephone keypad
• Increased productivity:  Conduct more efficient meetings with control functions that let you assign roles, mute  lines, request operator assistance, track elapsed time, see who is speaking, disconnect lines and adjust volumes

Rates

We offer extremely competitive rates both in North America ( including a local dial-in number for Toronto) and worldwide.  Our rates can be up to 70% less than the traditional Canadian providers.

Reserved Passcode

Much like ReadyConnect®, this option does not require operator assistance.  Customers receive unique passcodes to each conference for added security.  Operator assistance is available anytime during the conference by pressing 0.

Operator Assisted

This is a reserved service moderated by ACT’s professional operators.  Your participants will be greeted and placed into the the conference by our experienced operators.  Operators will be there throughout the call to answer questions and monitor the line quality.

Elite

For your most important audio events, we offer our high-touch Elite customized solution.  Our most tenured conference coordinators will help plan and manage the details of every call.  Tailored invites, RSVP’s, welcome scripts, Internet broadcasting, voting/polling and Q & A are just some of the custom services provided to give your meeting that extra special touch.

Global Conferencing Platform

Take advantage of our Global Conferencing Platform. This allows users from anywhere in the world join the same conference using a choice of local telephone numbers. By using the GCP, users no longer need to make expensive international calls to connect to global conference calls. You can call in from more than 60 different countries via local or toll free access numbers.

ReadyConnect® Web Meeting

ReadyConnect® Web Meeting, incorporated into ReadyConnect®, adds a visual component to your conference call. Visuals dramatically improve participants' retention of information and the collaborative productivity of the conference call. With only a telephone and a computer with Internet access, ReadyConnect Web Meeting enables you to share presentations, documents, web content and applications with individuals and groups around the world instantly.

Available Plans

For some customers, particularly light users, our traditional metered plan is the best choice.  Conferences are charged a per minute rate with no maximum or minimum restrictions on minutes and ulimited attendees allowed.

Alternatively, customers may select a plan which has a predetermined attendee threshold ( options include rates for 15, 25 or 150 participants) but the number of minutes used is unlimited.
